When I started out 27 years ago, all that we do today with a personal computer on our laps was almost totally unheard of. Even just to have a personal computer was relegated to geeks and the super elite. If at all, it seemed like something that would come way down the line and perhaps to the next generation still.
Today it's scary to think of what may be just around the bend.
We've got communication with no cables required and personal transportation with no fuel required (the hybrids).
We can shoot and edit our videos, record our music and allow the world to see and hear it with just a couple of quick clicks just to name a few.
We do business through the wide world web, watch the shows we've missed, download all sorts of things through this web.
My God...we can even get famous through the web.
The world has gotten smaller hasn't it? It is now contained and seen through a graphic monitor display unit roughly the size of a floor tile or the size of our palm.
And yet, there are some things that were never meant to change, like the heart of one man or woman.
It was meant to love and be loved. The soul often longs to give of itself ..... and to be give to. The spirit always truly wants what is right.
This has always been part of the nature of who we are.
NOPE, we aren't perfect but thank God He is.
That's why I start this site in the spirit of thanksgiving because now through the same technology that has opened up our minds to a lot of good and a lot of not so good, and to a lot of things that can help us or ruin us; I can reach out to others in a most personal way and perhaps even help encourage those who've been drowned by the levels of stress we now all face.
Today with all the info we have access to, it can mean more opportunities and that's good, but that will also mean more work, and more work means more responsibilities. And where there are major responsibilities involved the margin of error becomes much narrower.
This is where i feel we all undergo the stress we many times believe we do not need.
I hope this site and the words I'm given to say to you, help you realize what I'm still learning in my own personal life.
Yes we will encounter all sorts of troubles and trials but here's my first word of encouragement for all of you.
It's found in the book of Philippians 4:13 (Amplified Version)
"I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency.]
Call it religious, spiritual, mystical, holy. I can only call it only one thing ...TRUTH.
God bless you all.
